Spirit Mountain Ranch

Home of the Sacred White Buffalo

Flagstaff, Arizona

Happy Holidays to each and everyone!

Update: As some of you may know, Jim and myself, along with many others, have been looking to relocate the buffalo herd for them to have land once again to graze on. As of now that has not happened. We have, however, had some interesting offers, but nothing has transpired as of yet.

The whole herd is doing fine. The last white baby, Lucky Star (our 8th one) is now 6 months old and being weaned now and ate from Jim’s hand today. He is going to be just like his Dad, Arizona Spirit, with a Great personality.

Jim and I are doing well. I have recovered remarkably well from my accident I had in April 2004, sometimes I even surprise myself on how well I am doing. I have started to run the gift shop, myself for the last two months, 6 days out of the week.

Traffic has been terribly slow this year, due to the price of gas, war, who knows all the reasons.

We were hoping to have had the buffalo herd on grass by this time, in another location.

It has come to the time to having to ask for help to buy the hay needed for the buffalo, something we hate to have to do.

A semi load of hay we get delivered from Cortez Colorado and it is a perfect blend of grass and costs us much less than buying it locally at $17.00 a bale. The semi load usually lasts the buffalo 5-6 months. The load costs us $5,000.00 to have it delivered and stacked.

WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET IN PURCHASING THE HAY

If you can help in any way, we sure appreciate anything you can do to help our situation.

Can You Help??

If so, please contact me or Jim at 928-606-2779 or 606-1651 or e-mail me at www.denalynn@hughes.net

Much Love and Many Blessings for a Great 2007
