A Traditional Bed and Breakfast at our luxury log home in Sedona, AZ. |
Sedona Hiking and BikingSedona is a hiker's paradise. Sandstone buttes and pinnacles dot the land. In every direction there's something magical to see. From the magnificent Red Rock formations, to vortexes, to ancient Indian ruins, hiking in Sedona is an incredible way to experience America's Southwest. Sedona offers hiking for every level of outdoor enthusiast. There are numerous trails and visitor centers located throughout the area. The terrain can be quite rocky and good hiking shoes are a must. Also, be sure to bring plenty of water, the air is extremely dry. The mountain bike riding in this area is truly impressive! Hard packed trails make for wonderful biking. Our favorite hike is up Wild Horse Mesa. The trail begins off a street behind the Bed and Breakfast, takes about 45 minutes to get to the top of the Mesa for fantastic views of Sedona. IMPORTANT: If you are hiking within Red Rock Country, you will need a U.S. Forest Service Red Rock Pass and you MUST display this in your vehicle while parking in the National Forest. These can be purchased at the Gateway Visitor Centers at a cost of $5 for a daily pass; $15 for weekly; $20 for an annual pass |
