Sedona: Sedona Dream Maker Bed & Breakfast: "Our Dreams-Come-True at the Dream Maker Inn"Date: June 3, 2004Reviewer: sedona51704@msn.com, Florence, Or-Attalla, Al Sue from Attalla, Alabama My experience at Dream Maker is a bit unusual. I met someone on the net. We had an immediate attraction to each other. Talked daily, 4-5hrs, and decided in the 2nd wk that we wanted to meet. Vic had been to Sedona many yrs ago, and it sounded perfect. He also found the Dream Maker online. We thought seeing each other the first time would be such magic and it was. But Dream Maker added to the magic. Phil and Dee were so nice. We had the place to ourselves most of the time. The room was so beautiful and the balcony was so intimate. Phil and Dee went out of their way to make our stay wonderful, preparing great breakfasts and giving us ideas about what to do. Our last morning Vic told everyone about us. They were so shocked. One of the guests even teared up, saying that it was so romantic and unique. Phil and Dee were very surprised. Dee thought we had known each other for yrs and described us as soulmates. Our stay at the Dream Maker was the most perfect, magical time of my life and we (yes, WE) plan to go back for many yrs to come. It is Our Special Place and always will be. Vic from Florence, Oregon A Place where Dreams can come true, and that is what happened to me. I had met a lovely lady online from Alabama and after a month and a half of correspondence, we wanted to meet somewhere in between. I had been to Sedona 15 years prior, and knew how lovely the area was, so I suggested to my friend Sue that we meet there. After searching online for accommodations, I came across the DREAMMAKER INN and immediately fell in love with the Log Structure. The pricing was right, and I decided to select it from the many rooms available in the area. What luck, for it was a most beautiful experience. The setting was as if it was in the middle of the desert, the view was spectacular with views of the many red rocks mountains and cliffs. It was off the beaten track so the the sounds of the desert and wildlife could be heard at daybreak and throughout the day and night. The Rooms, 3, each of which had a separate theme, were spacious and quaintly appointed with artifacts of the area. One was Victorian, as the room name suggests, the other 2 were appointed more in desert theme. Our room the Victorian, was very comfortable, and spacious, the view out the balcony was just beautiful. All in all, Our Dream, a dream of meeting and getting to know each other, progressed as we had hoped. With the genuine friendship of Dee and Phil, along with the wonderful homemade breakfasts each morning, our days were filled with excitement and adventure. With suggestions and directions from Phil, and full stomachs from Dee's cooking, we would set off each day for hiking, climbing Bell Mountain, or just cruising through town. We, Sue and I, felt we really got to know each other because Dee and Phil treated us like family, and made us feel at home. We certainly will be going back there on anniversary's in years to come or just for the fun of it. Thank You, Dee and Phil, You have given us a memory that will last a lifetime.
