OVERVIEW VORTEXES AND ENERGY SPOTS AT THE DREAMMAKER The property was part of the land that was sacred for the indigenous people. It was part of the area that was visited for spiritual purposes. To heal, to find answers (vision quest), to do ceremonies. Before entering the area that is now called Sedona people prepared themselves through cleansing and fasting. The place that is now the Dreammaker is the place where people prepared themselves. There are many vortexes and energy sites that help to prepare for a new phase in your life by letting go of the “old” that is no longer needed. |
| Labyrinths were a feature of many medieval cathedrals - one of the best remaining examples is found in Chartres Cathedral in northern France. Unlike a maze they have only one path - there are no dead ends. People walk the labyrinth slowly, as an aid to contemplative prayer and reflection, as a spiritual exercise, or as a form of pilgrimage. Most are made in a circular pattern, but we followed our land to design the path. |
